      Job Description

      Are you determined and you know how to use initiative to develop effective solutions to problems? Then you could be our new Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for improving customer experience and dealing with suppliers in case of product or process quality defects.

      This is a position supporting the RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls) organization in Poland (Grodzisk Mazowiecki) at Danfoss Climate Solutions segment. Danfoss Climate Solutions provides energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions to enable sustainable development in buildings, cold chains, industrial applications, and infrastructure. With end-to-end application expertise and a broad product portfolio, we are leading the way to a greener future and helping our customers do more with less.

      Daily job of Supplier Quality Engineer is around working with global finished product suppliers and Danfoss customers to assure and improve products quality. With your technical expertise and problem-solving experience, you will support existing products and will help sustain high quality of the products. As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will derive from your wide experience and extensive knowledge to lead the supplier quality processes like evaluation and development within international environment. You will point out the most suitable solutions, provide the best process standards and make sure quality is never compromised. You possess project management skills, are self-driven, analytical and customer focused.

      Job Responsibilities

      Your tasks on this position will include:

      • Ensuring quality of externally manufactured finished products
      • Involvement in new product development projects
      • Facilitating customer and supplier claim handling process
      • Leading root-cause problem solving analysis (8D) within international and interdisciplinary team
      • Driving quality improvements at supplier to ensure stable output
      • Ensuring quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed
      • Verifying product and production process development results with Danfoss part approval requirements (Supplier PPAP)
      • Following up on corrective and preventive actions from audits, report of non-conformity cost, status 8D
      • Support Sales and Application Engineers in improving customer experience
      • Conducting technical audits at suppliers
      • Taking part in supplier development
      • Visiting customer sites

      Background & Skills

      Ideally you possess following skills:

      • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (preferably related to manufactuing
      • Around 5 years of experience working within the manufacturing industry in a quality role
      • Preferably experience with some of following products: HVAC (condensing units, compressors, heat exchangers etc), valves, sensors, electronic boards (PCB)
      • Knowledge of 8D methodology, APQP and Quality Core Tools
      • Work experience in industry environment compliant with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 is a plus
      • Systematic and structured when approaching an issue to solve (uses 8D, FTA, FMEA)
      • Experience with performing internal and supplier audits; ISO 9001 or IATF auditor cert. is a plus
      • Fluent verbal and written English - any another language is an advantage
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
      • Willingness to travel, when required (approximately 15%)
