Working as an Inbound Planner at Danfoss Cooling Segment, you will be responsible to secure material deliveries to the factory at the right time and with the right quantity. You will work together with our local and global suppliers to optimize our cooperation to secure a win–win partnership.

• Ability to prioritize and flexibility to meet the priorities of the company

You will be responsible for

• Ensure delivery of goods to the internal users at the due date and the right place, in the right quantity and quality
• Inventory management
• Monthly maintenance on safety stocks
• Work with demand forecast and align with vendors on required capacities  
• Secure process of converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders, transmitting purchase orders to vendors, monitoring timely confirmation of purchase orders, monitoring timely delivery of ordered goods or timely execution of ordered services, communicate and update system of any delay
• Maintain a close working collaboration with Outbound (Production Planning) & Procurement
• Follow up on blocked invoices and ensure the payments to suppliers
• Participating in negotiation the SLA's/OLA´s, secure the logistic input, capacity and material flexibility, VSM, etc. to secure minimum inbound logistics terms and hereby create win/win for both supplier and Danfoss
 
Your Education and Experience
 
 
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics or another related field
• 3 or 5 years of experience like planner buyer/materials planner (materials purchase)
• Fluent in English
• Strong SAP skills is a plus
• Supply Chain Certification is a plus
• A pro-active person who will seek out and implement additional tasks that add value to the company.
• Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and make necessary decisions
• Be able to deal with a high-pressure environment
