Deliver logistic services within the areas of International freight and import/export, Customs handling from the local distribution center(s) and campus site(s) to divisions within the Danfoss group.Job Responsibilities
Import / Export management：
Ensure a smooth import and export of products - either directly to customers or via the local DC. Coordinate with forwarders and customs brokers for any deviation to the normal leadtime - and keep the divisions informed if leadtime falls outside what is agreed in the SLA. Take part in tasks related to HS classification (if needed) and coordinate with local customs authorities upon request.
To work together with GS-L freight team manage the international shipment in and out of campuses and DCs. To agree spot rates for ad hoc tasks (i.e non-existing services/lanes, extra ordinary large shipments, projects); Request rates and setup from GS-L F on new frequent lanes; inform GS-L F for potential benchmark rates;
To make sure SOP are updated when changes in contact persons at campuses/DCs by informing GS-LF; to inform GS-LF if changes are requested to i.e. Pick-up times,lead times, departure frequency etc. if any commercial consequences; to secure that all relevant people in the organization of campuses/DCs have knowledge to the SOP's.
Ensure that a local web portal for logistics is developed / maintained as the primary communication tool between sales/production and the local warehouse & IE. This should also include options for complaint handling, special request handling etc.
Ethics/Compliance: Ensure that Danfoss is compliant throughout the entire delivering process to end customers - e.g. in relation to HS classification, importing, document filing, rate verification etc. Ethics fully complied.
Reporting: Ensure weekly and monthly follow up as per guidelines in the agreed SLA. A monthly SLA review meeting should be conducted with the local business and other relevant stakeholders
Budget:Ensure that budget locally is kept - a monthly follow up with finance is required
Support local projects: Participate in projects locally to improve the delivery service, reduce costs etc
Logistics processes (planning, warehouse, forwarding, Customs).
Familiar with Customs regulation.
Good English communication.
Using of IT (Excel, powerpoint, word etc.)
Experience of SAP is a plus.
