Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a maternity cover to our HR Generalist team with substantial knowledge of operational HR and the ability to act as an advisor and sparring partner to local and regional leaders.

 

Today seven professionals, dedicated, serious and service-minded experts are ensuring that the organizational aspects and processes are considered when implementing HR decisions in our Danish locations/region. Together with your colleagues, you will be the clear point of contact for local and regional management in all HR matters.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsible areas will be within:

 

Management support

  • Support managers and HRBPs with organization changes
  • Act as advisor and sparring partner to local and regional managers
  • Act as first line support for global processes, knowing where to direct ‘customers’, when necessary
  • Support employee relationships in location and region, including onboarding and performance matters

 

Performance, engagement and retention

  • Responsible for ‘taking action’ and enabling leaders in being compliant to Danfoss People Management Processes and standards to ensure high performance
  • Initiate and lead activities that help to increase satisfaction, motivation, engagement and retention
  • Monitor data around sick leave, engagement, job satisfaction, etc. and address the development and improvement area to leaders and local management

 

Development

  • Facilitate team building and development on request
  • Coordinate and implement development initiatives
  • Manage coaching and development activities
Background & Skills

You have a relevant degree at Bachelor’s level as a minimum and good experience from a similar role, preferably in an industrial environment. Moreover, you need to have an outgoing personality and a solid business understanding. You identify and resolve issues independently, and you will show initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.

 

You have a proactive attitude and a powerful sense of urgency. In addition, you have proven coaching, relationship-building and influencing skills, and you meet people with an open mind and professional interest. As a person, you have high level of empathy and you are a people person. Finally, you speak and write Danish and English fluently.

 

This is a truly cross-functional and cross-organizational role, and you will collaborate with stakeholders across the entire organization. Consequently, you can communicate at all levels, and you are strong in mind and able to deal with adversity. To succeed, you also need to have experience in process implementation, change management and leading transformation processes.

 

Maternity cover period: 1 February 2021 to 31 December 2021
